Author guidelines:
Please read the guide below before making any submission. Articles that do not adhere to the guidelines will be returned without review. Please submit your full manuscript and not only abstract.

Please note that this journal only publishes manuscripts in English. All submitted articles will undergo initial assessment for suitability purposes by the editor before going through rigorous double blind peer review.

Please include a word count for your manuscript.
Your manuscript should not exceed 8000 words including abstracts, tables, references, footnotes, endnotes and figure captions.

Articles sent to the editor must not be already published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Authors must use the American Psychological Association format of referencing (6th edition) both for in-text and out-text citations.

Figures and table should be incorporated into the text. Authors are to use New Times Roman with font size 12 in the manuscript.Use justified text arrangement in the main text with 1.5 line spacing.

It is the responsibility of authors to secure publishing permission for figures/illustrations.

Submission Preparation Checklist

• Indicate full contact information for all authors on a separate title page: author name, affiliation (department, University, City, Country) street address and e-mail address. In the case of more than one author, kindly indicate the one who will be handling the correspondence. See the Template in preparing your manuscript.

• Submissions must be in MS-word document format together with an abstract of not more 250 words, and five keywords.

• Names of authors should only appear on the title page file for the purposes of anonymity during the submission review process. As results, authors must ensure that their names do not feature in the main manuscript.

Manuscript Preparation and Organisation

Manuscript organisation may vary but basically, it captures in sequential order the:

Introduction

The introduction may provide a background to the problem under investigation, present the research problem and the main objective/research questions of the study. This must be done such that it sustains the attention of readers, justifies why the study is important without any shred of ambiguity.

Review of related literature

The literature review must provide the context of the study. The review should not be an annotated bibliography but a coherent synthesis of existing body of knowledge on the study that identify gaps the study sought to fill. Thus, the literature examines the strengths and weaknesses of current studies pertaining to the new topic being researched into. In historical research, scholarly secondary sources are synthesised for historical construction or reconstruction of knowledge. Conceptual or theoretical framework may be treated separately or as part of the body of literature review.

Methodology

Information relating to the appropriate research approach, research design (and specific design tools used), the population, sample and sampling technique, instrumentation, data analysis plan and ethical considerations of the study must be spelt out. With design-based research that concerns with practical activities, the methods/processes for execution of artwork must be included.

Results and discussion

This entails presentation and discussion of the results. Data gathered in relation to the objectives/research questions must be dealt with thoroughly to generate better understanding. Based on the objectives, themes could be generated under which the results are discussed. Data is analysed to bring out the major findings that answer the research objectives/questions.

Conclusions

Under this, a brief summary of the study may begin. This is followed by brief discussion of the major findings and most importantly the inferences drawn from the findings. The conclusions are the thesis of every research. Corresponding recommendations based on the conclusions drawn are presented under this section. The conclusions must avoid the temptation of broad generalisations.

References

Present in alphabetical order, a list of references cited in the work. Avoid the temptation of adding sources that you did not cite in the text. The reference list must be formatted strictly according to the format suggested in APA Publication Manual (6^th ed).

Author Bio

Include an author bio of not more than 100 words.

Publication Fee

JAAC charges a token amount of money as publication fee to cover operational cost including peer-review, website maintenance, staffing and editorial expenses. However, amount paid does not determine whether or not a manuscript would be accepted. Manuscripts are accepted only when they meet the academic standards and quality.

After a manuscript has undergone double blind peer review process and is accepted for publication, the author is tomake a payment of $60 USD through:

All payments must be made only through JAAC account name and not into a personal account or through a third party’s account.

Payment for publication could be made into the Journal’s account. Contact the editor for details of account information.

REFUND POLICY

Refund could be made only when there is evidence of double payment. In this case, the refund shall be done through bank transfer. The bank charges for the transfer are bore by the author. No refund will be made after the article is published online.
